RUNFLAT Tire Systems is the Speciality Defence Systems manufacturing industry located in Hyderabad, India and our Composite Inserts provide the vehicle capability to continue journey for extended distance while experiencing one or more deflated or damaged tires hit by an Amour Piercing Rounds, a tire blast or a failure.
 
The purpose of a Runflat Insert is to let a vehicle get to safety by enabling it to be driven with one or more deflated tires over a certain distance. A Runflat System provides mobility in situations in which standing still is not an option by extending the life of the tire in deflated mode. This is accomplished by supporting the tire-tread so that the wheel rims cannot damage and cut the sidewalls of the tire. The Runflat system is mounted securely on the rim inside the tire and is only in contact with the tire when it is deflated. A Runflat Device is not a replacement or a substitute for a tire in normal situations.
When the tires are fully inflated, Runflat Insert does not affect the handling of the vehicle. Their added value only becomes apparent when tires are deflated due to damage or attacks. The proprietary composite material compound is strong enough to handle ballistic attacks and can support the weight of a fully Armored Vehicle.
