Spray Dried Chickoo Powder

Chikoo Powder:
Mevive's spray dried chikoo powder is a natural sweetener and flavour enhancer. Our light brown coloured chikoo powder perfectly retains the original sweetening flavour of the sapodilla fruit. When sapodilla fruit is spray-dried, its nutritional content is also preserved. So, it becomes easy to incorporate chiku powder into beverage products and instant products to boost the overall taste of these products. The chikoo powder can directly substitute honey or sugar with its sweetening properties. One kilogram of Mevive's chickoo powder holds the essence of 9-litre fresh chickoo fruit juice. Moreover, chickoo powder is sweetish, water-soluble, and free-flowing.
Manufacturing Process:
Mevive selects and procures farm-fresh sweety natured sapodilla fruit. First, fresh fruits are passed for washing, cleaning, and rejecting the damaged or spoiled ones. After separating the rotten fruits, the thick skins and black seeds are carefully removed to extract the chickoo juice. The juice is then filtered and concentrated by using the evaporators. The concentrated pulp will finally be spray dried. Our free-flowing chikoo powder is cooled and gathered after being sieved. Finally, the chikoo powder will be checked for quality standards before being air-packed to sustain up to 1 year.
